Bethel Assembly of God
In our ministries, we reach out into our local community to meet the needs of our neighbors right here where we live, trying to nourish the spirit and tend to the needs of those who are struggling.
Not By Bread Alone
Our most visible ministry is Not By Bread Alone, where we are serving the needs of people in Yreka with a hot meal, clothing, evangelism, worship music, and testimonies. We aim to go out to the “four corners” of Siskiyou County to share God’s love with our neighbors, serving those people who may need a little extra help because of times of struggle or hardship.. We conduct this ministry each week, typically on Thursdays, and always appreciate any volunteer effort or donations that you can provide. All are welcome.
We are working to build a ministry in the jail system in Siskiyou County. Please pray that we can make progress. We are striving to help those who have lost their freedom to find true freedom that only comes through faith in God, learning how to live a life that brings them closer to God, and enjoying the benefits that God promises those who put their faith in Him. More details will be forthcoming...
Bethel Assembly of God in Yreka will be hosting a call center for Teen challenge, serving the Northern California region from Dunsmuir in the south, to the Oregon border in the north, from Etna in the west, to the Nevada state line in the east. Please pray for this ministry as we work to establish this important component of the Teen Challenge ministry.
- Teen Challenge is a Christian Discipleship Program for men and women 18 years and older who are suffering with life controlling problems. Pray for us as we start to do this important work that will help our brothers and sisters become free of the bondage of addiction.

If you are moved to volunteer or contribute, please contact us. We would love for you to be a part of our ministries.
If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and filled," without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead
